This page states the Terms of Conditions under which you may use the Seymour Johnson AFB Employment Connection. By using this web site, you are indicating your acceptance to be bound by the terms the Privacy and Security Notice.

The Seymour Johnson AFB Employment Connection web site may be used for lawful purposes of individuals seeking employment and career information. Employers, who are seeking employees, can post their companies information and lawful job opportunities.

Job Seekers Terms of Use:

This employment site may be used only for lawful purposes by individuals seeking employment and career information. The information provided must be accurate. The following uses are prohibited:

  • Posting any incomplete, false, or inaccurate biographical information or information which is not your own accurate resume --in other words—living individuals seeking employment on a full-time or part-time basis on his or her behalf.
  • Disclosing your password to any portion of non-public areas of this site is unauthorized.
  • Deleting or revising any material posted by any person or company


Employers Disclaimer:

Companies seeking employers may use this employment site only for lawful
purposes.

  • Employers who wish to access the web site are required to submit an
    electronic application to the Family Support Center's Web Administrator.
  • Employers seeking access will be asked to provide various information to include, name, address, phone number, e-mail address, web address (if applicable), type of business, number of employees, and a description of
    the job they are trying to fill. An employer will not be granted access without a completed application. An employer may also be denied access to this site for any of the following reasons:
    1. Offering employment that could potentially adversely affect the
      mission readiness of any personnel;Offering employment that could potentially adversely impact the reputation or image of the Department of Defense or United States Air Force;
    2. Engaging in any discriminatory, unfair or deceptive employment
      practices; or
    3. Offering participation in a distributorship or "pyramid scheme" which
      requires an up front or periodic payments from an employee (However, an
      employer can list employment opportunities where compensation is
      strictly on a commission basis).
  • Employers granted access to this site may review the work experience and
    education level of each job seeker. To view a job seeker's entire resume, an
    e-mail must be sent by the employer directly to the job seeker requesting the resume."

Employers:

Companies seeking employees may use this employment site only for lawful purposes.

  • Employers who wish access to the web site are required to submit an electronic application to the Family Support Center's Web Administrator.
  • Family Support Center's Web Administrator is responsible for reviewing the application and approving or disapproving said applications.
  • Employers offering jobs that could adversely affect the mission readiness or bring discredit to the service could be denied access.
  • Employers offering a job that does not meet the image of the service or the local community could be denied access.
  • Employers engaging in discriminatory practices could be denied access.
  • Employers who misrepresent their company by saying it provides a certain service--when in fact--it provides a different service--will be denied. For example: If an employer states they provide a catering service (We normally think of a company that prepares food for a function, sets up a function, serves at the function and then cleans up.); however the company is actually an escort service (Yes, it does cater to a degree, but it does not meet the image of the service or the community of Goldsboro.) Therefore access will be denied.
  • Employers cannot post any franchise, pyramid scheme, "club membership", and distributorship or sale agency arrangement or other business opportunity which requires an up front or periodic payment, commission only (except for postings that make it perfectly clear that the available job pays commission only and describes the service or product the job seeker will be selling--providing it is legal).
  • Employers will see the work experience and education level of each job seeker. To view the entire resume, an e-mail must be sent by the employer to the job seeker requesting the resume. This will ensure the job seekers "Privacy" at all times.
  • If the web administrator does not know the details about an employer that is seeking access to this web site, the web administrator will ask the employer to provide information; such as: Name, address, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, web address, type of business, number of employees and the positions they will try to fill. The web administrator will use the information to make a decision to approve or disapprove the employer--so the more information you provide is beneficial to your company. If this information is not provided, the employer will not gain access to the web site.


All Users:

All users may not use any of this web site in order to transmit, distribute, store or destroy material in the following manner:

  • In violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • A manner that will infringe the copyright, property rights of others or violate the privacy.
  • Publicity or other personal rights of others.
  • No defamatory, obscene, threatening or abusive or hateful acts.
  • Deleting or revising any material posted by any other person or entity.
